The governor of imo country, rochas okorocha has admitted that the southeastern a part of the united states has been notably marginalized by using the prevailing and past governments.
The governor stated this became responsible for the call for secession by using different companies in the location.
He said there was no unmarried federal presence in the southeast as no authorities considered the welfare of the people of that vicinity.
Addressing newshounds in owerri, okorocha said, “the south -east has been omitted beyond regular time politically, economically, socially and all that.
“their roads are impassable; you can not pass port harcourt road, enugu road, aba street, bayelsa road and all the roads.
“you could hardly ever see federal government presence in the south- east, all the belongings you see are thru self help.
“even the onitsha bridge has been a theoretical speak, fabrications which does no longer represent realities.”
Okorocha, but insisted that nigeria will remain one, adding, “very quickly, some of us have taken it upon ourselves to attain out to these younger guys and speak to them.
“we have to remember that our young men are annoyed; if they're as comfortable as we're they may not be able to mention those matters they may be announcing.”
