Is Femi Adebayo an armed robber or promoting the act of robbery? ______ No ! He's just an ACTOR/Filmmaker . The act is called "ACTING", which is an activity in which a story is told by an actor by adopting a scripted character. Simply put, to imitate or to enact a situation in a convincing way. My attention was drawn to a news about a teenager armed robber who said he developed his style of armed robbery after being inspired by a movie he watched- "GBEWIRI METTA" , where i acted as an armed robber . I find this absolutely appalling and baseless. The aim of a film maker /Story teller is to convey emotions to the viewer; raise awareness about an issue; educate about a subject; entertain and of course Make money. There are numerous lessons to learn in the said movie. Some of which are theme of parental care, societal/peer pressure and many others. The movie didn't just base it's plot strength on a boy who became an armed robber out of poor parental tutelage; nemesis also caught on him. It signifies that, for every bad deed, karma is approaching...
